Description

  • Serve as the first point of contact for support needs across Strategic portfolio accounts in the Australian market.
  • Track, prioritize, and drive resolution of issues affecting Square’s highest-value sellers.
  • Identify, document, and follow up with engineers on product bugs and feature requests.
  • Build relationships with key contacts across large enterprise accounts, including operations, finance, executives, and technical teams.
  • Communicate updates, developments, and problems to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze customer issue trends and recommend improvements to processes, policies, and products.
  • Collaborate closely with Strategic Account Managers to support up-market seller success.
  • Partner with sellers to triage issues, gather feedback, and recommend solutions to complex questions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of customer service, implementation, or account management experience.
  • Deep understanding of Square’s first-party products and feature parity across global markets.
  • Experience supporting sellers in Australia.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills; technical skills are highly regarded.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of Australian payment regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to customize the support experience for individual high-value sellers.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and resilience in a fast-changing environment.
  • Growth mindset with openness to feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Preferred: Experience managing complex projects, handling on-call tickets to product and engineering teams, payment gateway integrations, or work in Risk, Integrations, APIs, Compliance, Fraud, Hardware, or Networking.
  • Preferred: Previous experience in FinTech or the payments industry.
  • Preferred: Deep understanding of Square’s third-party partners.
  • Preferred: Experience with SQL and data analysis.
