Description

  • Independently own a portfolio of issuer and processor relationships, including governance cadences, escalations, contract negotiations, change requests, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner executives and manage day-to-day partner communications.
  • Drive partner onboarding and product launches, including diligence, technical integration, BIN setup, network and bank approvals, pilot scope, and launch readiness.
  • Translate partner, network, bank, and regulatory requirements into actionable internal plans across Product, Engineering, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Finance.
  • Set milestones, manage dependencies, surface risks early, and keep the Issuing roadmap on track without day-to-day direction.
  • Build and maintain operating mechanisms such as SLAs, oversight reporting, incident and SEV protocols, MSA obligations, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Monitor regulatory developments, network mandates, and partner ecosystem changes to inform program strategy and partner selection.
  • Communicate concise, action-oriented updates to executive stakeholders and escalate risks with data-backed options.
  • Use AI/LLM-powered tools to improve partner reporting, diligence workflows, and document review.
  • Advise senior leadership on sequencing, tradeoffs, and program decisions in a high-autonomy environment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of program or product operations management experience in fintech, issuing, banking, or payments.
  • Direct experience independently owning bank partner and/or card processor relationships at a senior level.
  • Working knowledge of card issuing economics, BIN sponsorship models, Visa/Mastercard network rules, and the regulatory landscape for consumer card products.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional programs through ambiguity from onboarding through launch.
  • Experience designing and standing up scalable program operating mechanisms in a regulated environment.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, including influencing without authority.
  • Track record of building partner trust at the executive level and handling sensitive commercial and regulatory matters with discretion.
  • A builder’s mindset with senior judgment and comfort working in a 0-to-1 product environment.
  • Experience launching consumer financial products with multiple bank or processor partners is preferred.
  • Background in compliance program management, including KYC, AML, BSA, sanctions, or partner oversight in regulated fintech, is preferred.

  • Base salary range of $148,700–$223,100 USD for Zone A, with lower ranges for other U.S. zones ($138,300–$207,500, $130,900–$196,300, and $123,400–$185,200).
