Description

  • Lead, coach, and develop a remote team of Account Executives to meet individual, team, and organizational revenue goals
  • Hire, onboard, and train new Account Executives and manage their ramp to quota
  • Participate in client and prospect meetings to support direct reports and close deals
  • Define and enforce sales processes, playbooks, and repeatable funnel practices across the team
  • Oversee sales KPIs and execution, including hourly/daily metrics, forecasting, pipeline management, and weekly pipeline/forecast review meetings
  • Use data-driven insights and the customer voice to refine sales strategy, improve product experience, and increase customer success
  • Coach AEs on strategies to increase revenue, conversion, and customer outcomes
  • Evolve sales tactics and take new ideas from conception to execution
  • Foster a team culture of trust, accountability, collaboration, and open communication

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a sales manager
  • 3 years of documented sales success as an individual contributor exceeding targets
  • Experience hiring, training, and ramping Account Executives
  • Proven ability to build structure around sales metrics and manage teams to achieve those metrics (forecasting, pipeline management, KPIs)
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching skills, and desire to develop others
  • Track record collaborating cross-functionally and driving organizational change
  • Comfort leading and managing a remote sales team
  • Ability to use customer feedback and data to evolve strategy and decision-making (consider upstream/downstream impacts)

  • Market-based base pay with U.S. zone ranges (Zone A: $198,000–$272,300; Zone B: $184,200–$253,200; Zone C: $174,200–$239,600; Zone D: $164,300–$225,900)
  • Eligibility for equity participation under Block’s equity plan and possible sign-on bonus (subject to plan terms)
  • Sales roles may be eligible for a commission plan
