Description

  • Participate in the monthly close process by preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and workpapers.
  • Own accounting activities across Revenue, Accounts Receivable, Customer on Account, and Security Deposits.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve the accuracy and timeliness of monthly close.
  • Use the ERP system effectively and help improve accounting processes.
  • Perform fluctuation and variance analysis and explain monthly financial results.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accounting data is complete and accurate.
  • Assist with annual audits and tax compliance data preparation.
  • Document internal controls and current processes to support repeatability.
  • Drive process improvements and use AI for routine Accounting Team tasks.
  • Support strategic initiatives, growth projects, and ad hoc accounting assignments as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA designation or progress toward CPA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related accounting experience.
  • Prior public accounting experience preferred.
  • Big 4 audit or tax experience and industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, PivotTables, and Dynamic Arrays; Power Query preferred.
  • Experience with enterprise software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or Workday preferred.
  • Must be available to work Eastern Time Zone business hours.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication, organization, time management, and prioritization skills under tight deadlines and pressure.
  • Flexible, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
