Description

  • Collaborate with the Art Director and creative leadership to expand the artistic vision of an established IP.
  • Create 2D and 3D concepts for a variety of assets, with primary focus on characters and additional coverage of tools, vehicles, and environments.
  • Produce 2D in-game assets and key art.
  • Create storyboards to support narrative and cinematic visualization.
  • Build a deep understanding of the game universe to support immersion.
  • Develop ideas quickly and present workable variations within technical constraints.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven gameplay development experience.
  • Strong design sense, illustration skills, and art fundamentals.
  • Ability to quickly generate and communicate a wide range of visual ideas.
  • Experience working collaboratively with Art Directors and creative teams.
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong visual research practices.
  • Ability to work remotely and reside within Canada; candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Experience creating usable base 3D concepts is a plus.
  • Passion for immersive science fiction is a plus.
