Description

  • Drive top-line sales revenue within a targeted market segment or geographically defined territory.
  • Promote adoption of software and services agreements to build long-term customer relationships and maximize contract value.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the account base.
  • Guide prospects through a structured sales process to move opportunities to close.
  • Work with channel partners and the partner organization to close business.
  • Support customer success by helping customers realize the full value of Black Duck solutions.
  • Represent Black Duck at local and industry events as needed to support the territory.
  • Collaborate with the manager to build and execute the go-to-market plan.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce data and forecasting.
  • Travel minimally, as this is an inside sales role.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of software sales experience and/or Sales Development Representative experience.
  • Proven track record of exceeding software sales, lead generation, and revenue targets.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles.
  • Proven ability to sell multiyear licensing agreements.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and executives.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong team skills for working with sales engineers, managers, and other coworkers.
  • Experience with software and application security tools (preferred).
  • Software security services sales experience (preferred).

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $79,800 to $119,700 USD.
  • Eligible for commission.
