Description

  • Build and manage high-performance security platforms at scale.
  • Develop automation to address security threats and improve preventive controls.
  • Design, develop, test, and deliver new security features across multiple teams.
  • Work with data scientists, security engineers, and other software engineers on security initiatives.
  • Contribute to the architecture, system design, and scaling of distributed, virtualized, or cloud-based solutions.
  • Operate and enhance security solutions for cloud services, identity and access management, mobile devices, and virtualization.
  • Apply software engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Help take projects from scoping and requirements through launch.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience building and operating production systems.
  • Experience with at least one modern language such as Python, Java, Go, or Perl.
  • 3+ years of experience contributing to architecture, system design, and scaling of distributed, virtualized, or cloud solutions.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
  • Understanding of software security concepts such as encryption, signing, and authentication.
  • Experience developing reliable and scalable software solutions.
  • Experience building distributed services or systems.
  • Knowledge of security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, or application security.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work through ambiguous or undefined problems and think abstractly.
