Description

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis through test planning, execution, defect tracking, delivery, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, UX designers, and operations teams to provide testing and implementation feedback.
  • Set up and manage Rust/Java testing environments for automation and validation work.
  • Design detailed test plans and test cases using Rust/Java testing frameworks and tools.
  • Perform black-box, white-box, security, automated, and performance testing across multiple platforms and components.
  • Contribute to testing strategy, process improvement, and efficiency gains within the Futures team.
  • Monitor emerging Rust/Java technologies and apply ecosystem updates to improve testing methodologies.
  • Diagnose, debug, and help resolve issues affecting software performance and quality through root cause analysis.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in QA testing, preferably in automation.
  • Strong programming skills in Rust or Java, with solid knowledge of the language ecosystem.
  • Experience with Rust/Java-based automation frameworks and testing libraries.
  • Exposure to iOS and/or Android development is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with mobile testing techniques such as performance testing, Monkey stress testing, startup time measurement, frame rendering analysis, and network condition testing.
  • Experience with secondary development tools or cross-platform frameworks is a plus.
  • Ability to design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans for complex systems and distributed architectures.
  • Strong root cause analysis skills to diagnose, debug, and resolve software issues.
  • Bilingual English and Mandarin communication skills are required.
  • Experience within a leading technology or software engineering firm is preferred.
