Description

  • Own core financial processes, including close, reporting, forecasting, and controls, with accuracy and speed.
  • Lead the finance systems roadmap across ERP, planning, reporting, consolidation, and automation tools.
  • Identify and implement AI solutions to reduce manual work in close, consolidation, accounting, reconciliation, and forecasting.
  • Partner with engineering and data teams to build and deploy finance technology.
  • Redesign finance workflows from data capture through reporting, AP/AR, close, planning, and insights.
  • Establish governance, controls, standards, and documentation for a reliable finance function.
  • Drive adoption of new systems and processes across the finance team.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and translate between finance and technology teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of finance experience, including senior or manager-level responsibility for close, reporting, forecasting, and controls.
  • Hands-on experience implementing or managing finance systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday, or modern fintech platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience leading AI, machine learning, or automation projects that replaced manual finance work with measurable results.
  • Strong knowledge of process controls, SOX-adjacent environments, intercompany accounting, and close management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and data teams and translate between finance and technology.
  • Strong communication and change-management skills, including the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.
  • Experience in crypto, fintech, or other high-growth environments preferred.
  • Experience with AI-native finance tools, such as AI agents, finance copilots, or ML-based planning, preferred.
  • Experience building or scaling a finance function in a fast-moving company preferred.
