Description

  • Design and implement secure application architectures with attention to authentication, authorization, data protection, and vulnerability management.
  • Develop and maintain secure coding guidelines and standards.
  • Review architectural and security requirements to identify and assess risks in new products, new features, and bug fixes.
  • Develop and implement security controls and countermeasures to mitigate identified risks.
  • Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations, including OWASP.
  • Stay current on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
  • Conduct pre-research for product business areas to better understand the business and security needs.
  • Build a framework for risk identification across different products and security solutions.
  • Communicate security risks and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to teams on security recommendations and secure coding practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
  • More than 6 years of application security experience or software development experience; more than 10 years is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and the SDLC.
  • Proficiency in mainstream web application development technologies; Java-based tech stack is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 security issues and their remediation.
  • Experience with technical implementation of common security solutions.
  • Understanding of penetration testing and security testing fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with static code security scanning tools, including problem analysis and solution design.
  • Understanding of mobile and web security basics.
  • Ability to systematically identify how application security vulnerabilities form and design solutions aligned with industry best practices.
  • Understanding of threat modeling and attack surface analysis; hands-on experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Mandarin is required to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
