Description

  • Act as the main Legal point of contact for supported business lines and coordinate with internal legal and cross-functional teams.
  • Support product development across the full lifecycle, including design, launch, and ongoing advisory work.
  • Advise on product compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including licensing, approvals, product restrictions, and AML/CFT requirements.
  • Draft, amend, and negotiate product terms, commercial contracts, and templates to reduce legal risk.
  • Advise on product-related marketing, announcements, and social media campaigns.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory compliance and implementation for financial instruments and digital assets regulations.
  • Handle client complaints and disputes with litigation colleagues.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders across jurisdictions and time zones.
  • Support licensing initiatives and other internal projects.
  • Deliver training and create internal guidance for colleagues inside and outside Legal.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in a law firm, financial services firm, or fast-paced technology company.
  • Relevant legal experience advising on digital assets and/or financial products at a fintech company or financial institution preferred.
  • Experience in product counseling on privacy, data protection, intellectual property, or technology transactions/litigation advantageous.
  • Strong team player with business acumen and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize across stakeholders and business units.
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and providing commercially minded legal advice.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently on complex projects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and maintain relationships with regulatory and compliance stakeholders.
  • Strong interest in the crypto world and digital assets markets.
