Description

  • Review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts for go-to-market teams.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate agreements with vendors and suppliers.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with business objectives and risk tolerance.
  • Work closely with internal clients to understand business needs and support their challenges and objectives.
  • Provide clear, simple legal advice to go-to-market teams.
  • Proactively address legal and business risks while enabling deal closures and strong internal partnerships.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of deal enablement tools, including agreement templates, playbooks, processes, and trainings.
  • Partner with other Legal team members and cross-functional teams on key projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to at least one state bar and good standing.
  • 2-3 years of experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Experience in a technology, SaaS, or high-growth company environment is preferred.
  • Strong ability to exercise independent judgment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to provide pragmatic, solutions-oriented legal advice while balancing legal risk and business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CPRA, and CCPA.
  • Familiarity with U.S. federal government contracts is a plus.
  • Candidates located in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones are strongly preferred; Central Time Zone candidates willing to work Pacific Time are also considered.
