Description

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain comprehensive MI frameworks related to compliance and financial crime risk management.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including the Chief Compliance Officer, to identify MI requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Design and produce high-quality, board-level presentations and reports that clearly communicate complex compliance and financial crime data.
  • Support the Global Head of Governance in monitoring governance processes and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Lead initiatives to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and MI automation, including the use of AI to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide expert analysis and interpretation of MI data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for governance improvements.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between compliance, financial crime, and governance teams to ensure consistent MI delivery.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory developments and industry best practices related to compliance, financial crime, and governance reporting.
  • Support audit and regulatory review processes by providing accurate and timely MI and governance documentation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an MI and governance role, preferably within a financial crime and compliance environment.
  • Typically 5+ years’ experience in financial crime, compliance, or risk management with a strong focus on MI and governance (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance MI processes including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience creating and delivering board-level presentations and reports that influence senior leadership decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to compliance and financial crime.
  • Advanced proficiency in coding (e.g., SQL, Python) and data analysis/reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management capabilities and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data, Business, Risk Management or related field and/or professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA/ACAMS); certifications in coding or technical writing and experience in financial services or cryptocurrency are preferred.
