Description

  • Lead and manage Binance’s global regulatory legal team and provide strategic direction on complex regulatory matters.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine the company’s global regulatory legal strategy.
  • Serve as the primary legal liaison with regulatory authorities worldwide and maintain constructive relationships.
  • Oversee regulatory filings, licenses, permits, and approvals across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Advise senior management on regulatory developments, legal risks, and compliance measures.
  • Lead legal responses to regulatory inquiries, investigations, audits, and enforcement actions.
  • Collaborate with compliance, risk, business development, and product teams to embed regulatory considerations into business processes and product launches.
  • Deliver regulatory legal training and awareness programs for internal stakeholders globally.
  • Manage external legal counsel and consultants supporting regulatory matters.
  • Oversee team operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance management.

Requirements

  • Qualified to practice law in a leading jurisdiction.
  • 15+ years of experience in regulatory legal roles, preferably in technology, financial services, or cryptocurrency.
  • Proven experience managing complex regulatory compliance issues across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong knowledge of global financial products, including spot and derivatives trading, payment systems, and digital assets.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute global regulatory strategies in a highly regulated environment.
  • Experience leading and managing high-performing legal teams across multiple regions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with regulators, business leaders, and external counsel.
  • Deep understanding of the cryptocurrency industry and its global regulatory landscape.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Strong business acumen with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
