Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for global products using Java.
  • Build a high-performance, highly available, and secure backend system to support BigPay fiat business operations.
  • Own the service lifecycle from inception and design through deployment, operation, and ongoing refinement.
  • Develop and maintain internal tools and redesign capacity planning infrastructure to improve scalability.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix software issues while ensuring data security and end-to-end system reliability.
  • Build production LLM systems to support business functions from data to production with an emphasis on automation and reproducibility.
  • Optimize and support LLM workloads in on-premises environments.
  • Collaborate on AI and backend tasks to improve service reliability, fault tolerance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in software development and architecture.
  • Strong expertise in Java and backend frameworks such as Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, and microservices architecture.
  • Strong understanding of Linux and computer networks.
  • Experience profiling, benchmarking, and optimizing ML applications.
  • Bilingual English/Mandarin communication skills are required to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
  • Java code development experience in middleware, preferably with Apache open source projects.
  • Experience delivering high-availability, high-performance systems with resource optimization.
  • Experience with LLM-related project architecture design, code development, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with LLM training and development of optimization-related platform tools.
