Description

  • Develop a data-driven sales strategy and business plan to grow the Santa Clarita territory.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of sales representatives.
  • Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop sales representatives.
  • Create and refine customized pitches for OBGYNs, MFMs, and prenatal genetic counselors.
  • Analyze sales results, market trends, and competition to drive territory performance and sales volume.
  • Increase profitability and market share through effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Deliver clinical information to external clients and internal teams.
  • Influence how the test is communicated to physicians and patients.
  • Contribute feedback on how the test evolves to better meet market needs.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of direct sales management experience in molecular diagnostics, genetics, Women's Health, Prenatal, or Reproductive Health.
  • Experience leading field sales teams selling directly to OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors.
  • Existing portfolio of convertible client relationships in the region.
  • Proven ability to hire, coach, motivate, and develop sales reps to exceed ambitious goals.
  • Successful sales track record, such as President’s Club, Chairman’s Club, Circle of Excellence, or equivalent.
  • Strong negotiation, closing, listening, presentation, and follow-through skills.
  • Strong data analysis, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a startup environment.
  • Experience in a startup environment (preferred).
  • Clinical laboratory experience (preferred).
