Description

  • Develop a data-driven sales strategy and business plan to grow market development across the San Fernando region.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of sales representatives to execute territory strategies and increase market share.
  • Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop sales representatives.
  • Create and refine customized pitches for OBGYNs, MFMs, and prenatal genetic counselors.
  • Analyze sales results, monitor industry trends, and track competition to improve territory performance.
  • Deliver clinical information to external clients and internal teams.
  • Influence how the test is communicated to physicians and patients and provide input on product evolution to meet market needs.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of direct field sales management experience leading sales reps in molecular diagnostics, genetics, women’s health, prenatal, and/or reproductive health.
  • Experience selling directly to OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors with an existing portfolio of convertible client relationships.
  • Strong experience hiring, developing, coaching, and motivating sales teams to exceed ambitious goals.
  • Demonstrated sales success, such as President’s Club, Chairman’s Club, Circle of Excellence, or equivalent recognition.
  • Strong negotiation, closing, data analysis, presentation, listening, and follow-through skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present effectively to internal and external audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to assess and prioritize opportunities.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Must act with urgency and a strong focus on closing business.
  • Preferred: startup environment experience and/or clinical laboratory experience.
