Description

  • Develop a data-driven sales strategy and business plan to grow market development across New England.
  • Build, lead, and optimize a high-performing team of sales representatives.
  • Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop sales representatives.
  • Create and refine customized pitches for OBGYNs, MFMs, and prenatal genetic counselors.
  • Analyze sales results and market trends to improve territory performance and competitiveness.
  • Communicate clinical information to external clients and internal teams.
  • Shape how the test is presented to physicians and patients and provide feedback to help evolve the product to meet market needs.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of direct field sales management experience in molecular diagnostics or genetics.
  • Experience in Women’s Health, Prenatal, and/or Reproductive Health sales management.
  • Experience selling directly to OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors within New England.
  • Existing portfolio of convertible client relationships.
  • Proven track record of sales success, including awards such as President’s Club, Chairman’s Club, or Circle of Excellence, or equivalent.
  • Strong hiring, coaching, motivating, negotiation, closing, and follow-through skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills for internal and external audiences.
  • Strong data analysis, organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work consultatively, solve problems, and manage logistics with office staff and decision makers.
  • Startup experience preferred.
  • Clinical laboratory experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work in a startup environment and build a new territory and team.
