Description

  • Develop a data-driven regional sales strategy and business plan to expand market development.
  • Build, lead, and optimize a high-performing team of Oncology Specialists.
  • Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop sales staff.
  • Create and refine tailored pitches for oncologists and the broader cancer care community.
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity to increase sales volume and market share.
  • Support the communication of clinical information to external clients and internal teams.
  • Cultivate relationships with oncologists and extended cancer care stakeholders throughout the region.
  • Contribute feedback that helps shape how the test evolves to better meet market needs.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of field sales management experience leading sales reps at a molecular diagnostics or liquid biopsy company, required.
  • Direct experience selling to oncologists across a geographic region, with an existing portfolio of convertible client relationships.
  • Strong experience hiring, coaching, motivating, and developing sales teams to exceed aggressive goals.
  • Demonstrated successful sales track record, such as President’s Club, Chairman’s Club, Circle of Excellence, or equivalent.
  • Strong negotiation, closing, data analysis, listening, presentation, and follow-through skills.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to present effectively to internal and external audiences.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to assess and prioritize opportunities.
  • Strategic thinker who can execute tactically, act with urgency, and focus on closing business.
  • Ability to assess oncologist and office staff needs through consultative sales, logistics coordination, and problem solving.
  • Must reside in the Southern California region or a nearby state and be willing to work remotely from the territory region.
  • Preferred: startup environment experience.
  • Preferred: clinical laboratory experience.
