Description

  • Increase utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen and drive market development through direct sales to OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors.
  • Identify, develop, and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prospect for new business, cultivate relationships, and maintain key accounts within the territory.
  • Identify and pursue commercial growth opportunities across OBGYN, MFM, and genetic counseling clinics, hospital systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers.
  • Create and implement a strategic business plan to grow product utilization in the assigned geography.
  • Manage the full product sales cycle, including new business development and lead generation.
  • Attend local tradeshows, industry conferences, and networking events.
  • Deliver clinical information to external clients and internal teams, influencing how the test is communicated and positioned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of outside field sales experience in the healthcare sector, calling on providers in a specified geographic territory.
  • Demonstrated successful sales track record with strong understanding of buyer and decision-maker types.
  • Strong selling, listening, presentation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to assess and prioritize opportunities, manage time effectively, and respond to customer needs.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and strategic thinking skills with the ability to execute tactically.
  • Sense of urgency and focus on closing business.
  • Ability to assess medical professional needs with a consultative sales approach, logistics coordination, and problem solving.
  • Strong desire to work independently in a startup environment.
  • Working knowledge and application of HIPAA laws, privacy, and ethics around patient information.
  • Experience in a startup environment, women’s health, or clinical laboratory experience preferred.
  • Convertible book of business preferred.

  • Total compensation range of $184,569 to $248,269 per year at plan, including a base salary of $136,869 to $163,269.
