Description

  • Lead the design vision for the core app experience in partnership with Product and Engineering.
  • Design end-to-end user experiences across the customer journey to create a consistent, intuitive product experience.
  • Own and evolve key product surfaces such as core navigation, feature discovery, engagement, and clinical screening and referral flows.
  • Craft UX copy and microcopy, including feature titling, education, and navigation, aligned with the brand voice.
  • Design for localization across 6+ supported languages, including text expansion and RTL considerations.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other designers to solve user problems and scale experiences.
  • Use internal data, experimentation results, and user behavior insights to identify opportunities to improve conversion, retention, and engagement.
  • Design personalized and adaptive experiences that respond to user needs, sleep goals, and behaviors.
  • Participate in user research, competitive analysis, agile ceremonies, and process/tooling improvements.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, communicate design rationale clearly, and mentor other designers.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in design or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 8 years of product design experience for mobile apps.
  • Portfolio of UI and UX projects demonstrating research, ideation, launch, iteration, and measurable results, with a link provided.
  • Strong UX writing sensibility with the ability to craft clear, emotionally resonant microcopy.
  • Experience designing personalized, adaptive, or data-informed product experiences.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe CC.
  • Understanding of A/B testing and the ability to improve work based on quantitative and qualitative feedback.
  • Ability to prioritize work based on user impact and development effort.
  • Effective communication skills and strong cross-functional collaboration ability.
  • Bonus: knowledge of engineering processes and technical limitations; experience in wellness, health, behavioral product design, or subscription-based consumer apps.
