Description

  • Lead large, ambiguous design projects and ship high-impact experiences that create customer and business value.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering on strategy, planning, and execution.
  • Work directly with customers to understand needs, validate designs, and inform product strategy.
  • Drive end-to-end design execution for strategic initiatives across web and mobile experiences.
  • Influence the design team through mentorship and help shape the design culture.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales globally.
  • Use customer feedback throughout the design process to improve outcomes and solutions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product design experience designing UX/UI for web and mobile applications.
  • Proven experience in interaction design and visual design.
  • A strong portfolio and/or case studies demonstrating design craft, user problem-solving, and quantified impact; applications without a portfolio cannot be considered.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using AI tools such as Cursor and Figma Make to accelerate workflows, boost creativity, and prototype efficiently.
  • Track record of strategic influence and shipping impactful work.
  • Ability to engage effectively with customers for research and strategy.
  • Thrives in iterative, fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent experience working with cross-functional partners.
  • Remote role open to candidates residing in Canada.

  • Annual base salary of $151,300–$195,800 CAD.
