Description

Design a quality strategy that works across multiple technology stacks and product systems.
Build and maintain API and end-to-end test automation integrated into delivery pipelines.
Use agentic and AI-driven tooling to scale test coverage efficiently.
Define and enforce quality gates so no work exits development without testing designation.
Own production release sign-off by requiring evidence from production-like environments.
Set and uphold environment parity standards across testing and production configurations.
Protect against regressions during legacy modernization, re-platforming, and migration efforts.
Embed quality practices into development team delivery cycles across platforms.
Partner with engineering leadership and product owners to make quality part of the process.

Requirements

Deep experience in software quality with strong test automation expertise.
Experience building systems, architecting automated test suites, and deciding what to test.
Experience building or substantially rebuilding a quality function, ideally across more than one stack or product.
Ability to create standards from scratch and drive engineering adoption.
Fluency in modern automation across .NET, PHP, and Node/TypeScript systems.
Comfort designing a generalized quality approach across different technology stacks.
Experience using AI and agentic tooling to improve cross-stack quality.
Experience protecting a product through a major migration, re-platform, or rewrite.
Understanding of uptime and SLA obligations in a multi-region SaaS environment.
Government, healthcare, or compliance experience is a plus but not required.
