Description

  • Collaborate with game designers, artists, and engineers to translate visual concepts into optimized in-engine assets.
  • Import, configure, and maintain 2D and 3D assets, materials, and shaders in Unity3D for mobile and WebGL builds.
  • Profile and optimize assets, textures, lighting, and rendering pipelines to maintain high frame rates and low memory usage.
  • Build and maintain Unity editor tools, import scripts, and asset validation pipelines to improve team workflows.
  • Create and optimize shaders, particle systems, and post-processing effects to improve visual fidelity.
  • Ensure assets work consistently across iOS, Android, and WebGL platforms.
  • Support cross-functional development by bridging artistic intent and technical implementation.
  • Work with source control and Unity CI/CD workflows as part of the production pipeline.
  • Use profiling and debugging tools to diagnose and improve rendering and performance issues.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Unity3D, including URP or HDRP, asset pipelines, materials, lighting, and scene optimization.
  • Proficiency in C# scripting for editor tooling, automation, or runtime integrations.
  • Experience with 3D modeling tools such as Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max, and 2D software such as Photoshop or Substance Painter.
  • Familiarity with shader authoring tools or languages such as Shader Graph, HLSL, or Amplify Shader Editor.
  • Deep understanding of rendering performance optimization for mobile and WebGL targets.
  • Experience with cross-platform deployment for iOS, Android, and WebGL.
  • Knowledge of asset compression, texture atlases, and memory management techniques.
  • Comfort working with Git, Perforce, and CI/CD pipelines for Unity projects.
  • Basic familiarity with backend interactions such as REST APIs, network calls, and event-driven systems in a Go + AWS stack.
  • Understanding of profiling tools such as Unity Profiler, Xcode Instruments, and Android GPU Inspector.
  • Experience with WebGL performance tuning and lightweight shader optimization (nice to have).
  • Exposure to multiplayer gameplay systems and client-server synchronization (nice to have).
  • Experience in procedural asset generation or VFX Graph systems (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with analytics, events, or gameplay telemetry integration (nice to have).
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, iterative Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Passion for gaming and creating polished, visually engaging player experiences.
