Description

  • Manage digital product work for CMS’s Hospital Quality Reporting program.
  • Translate user and business needs into product features and requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver and improve products.
  • Build trust and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Define, write, test, and refine requirements, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done.
  • Coach and mentor peers on agile practices as needed.
  • Drive progress in ambiguous and complex client-facing environments.
  • Support modernization efforts that reduce provider burden and CMS costs.
  • Advocate for users throughout problem-solving from ideation through delivery.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of experience as a Product Manager building digital products in a cross-functional agile environment.
  • Expert knowledge of agile frameworks and principles.
  • In-depth experience with requirements management, including defining, writing, and testing requirements, acceptance criteria, and definition of done.
  • Superior relationship-building skills in large, complex stakeholder environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills across business, technical, and creative stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to drive progress in ambiguous environments.
  • Experience in a client-facing consulting or contracting role.
  • Experience releasing products in a SaaS environment.
  • Prior professional services, government, or federal consulting experience, with federal or state contracting experience highly preferred.
  • Formal training in agile delivery frameworks, including SAFe, is preferred.
  • 2+ years working on a remote team is preferred.
  • Experience in a rapidly growing small business or startup environment is preferred.
  • Experience building digital healthcare technology products and services is preferred.
  • Experience working in the public sector or a highly regulated industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with accessibility requirements is preferred.
  • Background in claims processing is preferred.
  • Healthcare experience in population health or payer settings is preferred.
  • US Citizenship or Green Card only; no sponsorship is offered.
  • US residency for at least the past 3 years.
  • Ability to meet Public Trust requirements, including a successful US Government background investigation.
