Description

  • Develop React Native mobile applications and native iOS and Android BLE device SDKs.
  • Design and implement UX workflows for clinical trial participants and at-home diagnostic patients.
  • Own app user experience, performance, reliability, and observability across the features you build.
  • Partner with Devices, Platform teams, and product designers to build integrated mobile capabilities.
  • Help shape the roadmap and technical direction of the mobile platform.
  • Build features that validate EEG signal quality before data capture.
  • Improve BLE pairing and reconnection reliability across iOS and Android.
  • Streamline onboarding for new patients and trial participants.
  • Deploy features that help Clinical Operations track compliance.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in mobile development, including native iOS/Android and/or React Native.
  • Experience with BLE, sensor integration, or health data streams.
  • Strong product mindset with attention to UX, edge cases, and performance.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript, React Native, Swift, Kotlin, Expo, and GitHub.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative, async environment.
  • Experience working with medical devices, EEG, or wearables (preferred).
  • Experience integrating BLE peripheral devices into iOS and/or Android applications (preferred).
  • Extensive native code experience for either iOS or Android in addition to React Native (preferred).
  • Experience building apps for clinical trials, patients, or other regulated environments (preferred).
  • Contributions to open source mobile or BLE projects (preferred).

  • Salary range of $170,000–$190,000.
