Description

  • Work on server-side B2 APIs and subsystems that support file uploads, lifecycle management, usage tracking, billing, and storage interactions.
  • Build new product features for the B2 Object Storage platform.
  • Improve the scalability of large-scale storage systems.
  • Create internal support tools to diagnose and resolve customer issues.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and rollout.
  • Collaborate across teams to gather feedback and incorporate it into solutions.
  • Contribute to shared team priorities, goals, and processes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of server-side object-oriented programming experience in Java, C++, C#, or similar languages.
  • Experience writing software for large-scale systems supporting thousands of servers and millions of customers.
  • Comfort with the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and rollout.
  • Strong cross-team collaboration skills with a focus on gathering and incorporating feedback.
  • Curiosity and the ability to understand problems before offering solutions.
  • Ability to work with the team toward shared priorities, goals, and processes.
  • Preferred experience with Apache Tomcat.
  • Preferred experience with Cassandra.
  • Preferred experience with customer-facing APIs.
  • Preferred familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
  • Preferred experience with test-driven development.
