Description

Own the software release process from development to production.
Automate release workflows to move code safely, reliably, and repeatedly.
Create and maintain releases and define triggers for CI/CD pipelines.
Use AI to identify workflow gaps and accelerate deployments.
Coordinate releases with QA by working across test environments, staging workflows, and automated testing.
Track issues and risks during releases and identify patterns to reduce them.
Document release processes and update release notes.
Work within change control and compliance frameworks such as SOC2 and ISO.
Contribute to continual software development process improvement efforts.

Requirements

5+ years of experience managing releases with expertise in deployment practices.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset with the ability to take initiative.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
Strong Git knowledge, including branching strategies, tagging, and merging.
Understanding of build systems such as Maven or Gradle and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Experience using AI tools in a way that benefits the release process.
Understanding of cloud storage concepts and infrastructure.
Familiarity with JIRA or another project and issue-tracking tool.
Experience with Agile/Scrum and an understanding of SDLC processes.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
