Description

  • Lead on-site and remote implementations of Prepared’s solutions for public safety agencies, including hardware setup and system integrations.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact during customer onboarding and early adoption.
  • Configure, ship, and support proprietary hardware and help customers integrate it with existing systems.
  • Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshoot escalated customer issues.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Support, Customer Success, project managers, and client stakeholders to improve deployment outcomes.
  • Provide real-time feedback from implementations to help refine workflows and product processes.
  • Contribute to process and documentation improvements that support scaling and first-call resolution.
  • Own implementation projects end-to-end and proactively identify and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct experience working with public safety systems such as 911 call handling, CAD, radio consoles, and logging recorders.
  • Experience in technical field services, implementation, or installation roles with a strong customer-facing component.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for on-site deployments.
  • Strong ability to work autonomously and manage projects end-to-end.
  • Experience thriving in cross-functional environments and partnering with Engineering and Product teams.
  • Hands-on experience with 911 call handling systems such as VESTA, Viper, or Solacom is preferred.
  • Experience with Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) platforms, radio console systems, and logging recorders is preferred.
  • Experience using network and traffic analysis tools such as Wireshark is preferred.
  • Experience supporting, configuring, troubleshooting, or operating systems in PSAPs, ECCs, or other mission-critical public safety environments is preferred.
  • Some roles may require legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment.
