Description

  • Achieve mastery of Dedrone technology and represent the product effectively to customers and partners.
  • Lead business and technical presentations for customers, channel partners, and field events.
  • Hold technical discussions with IT stakeholders, including CIOs, and partner leadership.
  • Set and manage expectations with customers and internal team members.
  • Provide first-level technical support throughout the pre-sales cycle.
  • Remove sales obstacles through creative problem-solving and adaptation to changing circumstances.
  • Develop relationships with key partners to support growth within their customer base.
  • Respond professionally to customer RFPs and RFIs.
  • Position the technology against competitive offerings.
  • Own the POC/Pilot process, including logistics, requirements assessment, test tailoring, configuration, and orientation support.
  • Improve or develop technical documentation to support customer and channel understanding and usage.
  • Capture feature requests and provide feedback to Product Management, Sales, Development, Support, Engineering, and Marketing.
  • Develop Statements of Work for Professional Services when needed for binding quotes.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts including IP, ARP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, PoE, Ethernet, and IEEE 802.11.
  • Basic understanding of Linux.
  • Basic understanding of physical security and IP camera placement/technology.
  • Basic understanding of drone technology; flying experience is desirable.
  • Associate degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or an equivalent field, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of customer-facing pre-sales or consulting experience required.
  • Experience selling SaaS-based solutions.
  • Experience developing Statements of Work or similar documents.
  • Strong presentation skills, technical acumen, and the ability to simplify complex concepts and work cross-functionally.
  • Basic knowledge or curiosity of security, IPsec, InfoSec, hacking, and exploitation tools and methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and storage devices.
  • Ability to work independently with substantial latitude for action and decision-making.
  • Intellectual curiosity, humility, accountability, and a positive approach.
