Description

  • Lead business and technical presentations for customers and partners.
  • Provide 1st-level technical support throughout the pre-sales cycle.
  • Set and manage expectations with customers and internal team members.
  • Conduct technical conversations with IT departments, including CIOs, and channel stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and manage the POC/Pilot process across all stakeholders.
  • Assess customer requirements and tailor POC tests, findings, configuration, and orientation.
  • Respond professionally to customer RFPs and RFIs.
  • Position the technology against competitive offerings.
  • Represent the company, products, and brand at field events and conferences.
  • Develop or improve technical documentation for customers and channel partners.
  • Capture customer feature requests and provide feedback to Product, Sales, Development, Support, Engineering, and Marketing.
  • Develop Statements of Work for Professional Services as needed.

Requirements

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts including IP, ARP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, PoE, Ethernet, and IEEE 802.11.
  • Good understanding of Linux.
  • Basic understanding of physical security, IP camera placement, and related technology.
  • Basic understanding of drone technology; flying experience is desirable.
  • Associate degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent), or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of customer-facing pre-sales or consulting experience required.
  • Experience selling SaaS-based solutions.
  • Basic knowledge or curiosity about security, IPsec, InfoSec, hacking, and exploitation tools/methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and storage devices.
  • Experience developing Statements of Work (SOW) or similar documents.
  • Strong presentation skills, technical acumen, and ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Ability to work independently with substantial latitude while collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Intellectual curiosity, humility, accountability, and a positive approach.
