Description

  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts in the German market and serve as the primary strategic partner for clients.
  • Own the customer journey from onboarding through expansion and long-term account development.
  • Work with executive stakeholders to understand business objectives and align solutions to client goals.
  • Develop account strategies that identify opportunities for growth, optimisation, and revenue expansion.
  • Lead strategic account planning and regular business reviews.
  • Manage contract renewals and expansion opportunities.
  • Lead complex implementations and feature adoption initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and technical specialists, to deliver client outcomes.
  • Act as the authoritative voice of the customer within the organisation.
  • Support clients with sophisticated configuration needs and complex business or technical questions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in account management or customer success, preferably in the publishing or software industry.
  • Deep understanding of publishing workflows or ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated success managing strategic client relationships and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts as clear business value.
  • Fluent in German and English; additional languages are an asset.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite.
  • SQL or database knowledge is highly valued for technical discussions.
  • Valid driver's license for regular client visits across Germany.
  • Willingness to work with regular on-site presence at client locations and periodic office visits.
