Description

  • Execute the full Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle across information systems and applications.
  • Lead security assessment and authorization activities to maintain 100% Authority to Operate (ATO) status.
  • Apply cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices across IT security services.
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity awareness and compliance programs for system users.
  • Create and maintain system security contingency plans and disaster recovery plans.
  • Coordinate remediation actions for findings from inspections, evaluations, and audits.
  • Brief clients and senior stakeholders on the security posture of information systems and programs.
  • Lead cybersecurity-related audits, inspections, assessments, and orders processing.
  • Assess, implement, and manage security controls and cybersecurity capabilities in alignment with RMF.
  • Author enterprise-level security documentation and status reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent verifiable work experience.
  • Six years of progressive experience in information assurance, cybersecurity engineering, or ISSO/ISSM roles.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability/Entry on Duty (EOD).
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills to drive remediation actions and inspection timelines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to draft technical status reports and brief stakeholders.
  • Deep subject matter expertise in RMF and NIST security controls.
  • Experience authoring contingency plans and disaster recovery plans.
  • Experience leading systems through the assessment and authorization process to achieve and maintain 100% ATO status.
