Description

  • Research, write, and revise high-quality original editorial and medical affairs content.
  • Ensure scientific accuracy through careful editing and referencing.
  • Collaborate with clients, authors, and internal colleagues to move projects forward effectively.
  • Attend congresses, symposia, and advisory board meetings as needed, including liaising with speakers and clients.
  • Contribute to project specifications, costings, and schedules to help deliver work on time and within budget.
  • Provide clear briefings to colleagues and freelancers.
  • Participate in account development meetings to support repeat business growth.
  • Mentor new writers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in the life sciences; PharmD or PhD is highly advantageous.
  • Minimum 2 years of medical writing experience in an agency setting.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Proficiency in internet research and PubMed searches.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Ideally East Coast based.
  • Experience supporting medical affairs deliverables is preferred.
