Description

  • Deepen client relationships and anticipate client needs and the impact of healthcare landscape changes.
  • Generate new business with prospective clients and expand work with existing clients.
  • Manage multiple clients and both short- and long-term deliverables across engagements.
  • Lead and execute quantitative research and claims analysis initiatives.
  • Create research protocols, evaluation plans, and strategic and tactical project plans.
  • Program and analyze data using analytic software platforms and programming languages.
  • Prepare and present research outputs through manuscripts, posters, and presentations.
  • Present research findings formally and informally to a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute projects including RFP writing, vendor selection, budgeting, and timeline management.
  • Build integrated real-world evidence generation and communication plans across Avalere and Avalere Health.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in a health-related discipline such as health policy, public policy, healthcare management, public health, health economics, epidemiology, business administration, or a related field.
  • A bachelor’s degree combined with in-depth relevant work experience is also acceptable.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in healthcare consultancy or a healthcare provider, pharmaceutical, diagnostic, digital health, or healthcare research organization.
  • Experience generating real-world evidence, qualitative and/or quantitative, to support value assessments and clinical or formulary decisions.
  • Experience in formative research, including formulating research questions, designing data collection instruments, and executing studies.
  • Experience using claims and multi-source datasets.
  • Programming experience with SAS, R, and other programming languages.
  • Ability to translate complex research into accessible and actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts to executives.
  • Proven situational leadership skills and the ability to motivate people across all levels of the organization.
