Description

  • Lead scientific delivery across medical affairs projects, including advisory boards, congress materials, and slide decks.
  • Provide advanced scientific review and strategic input to ensure content accuracy and alignment with client objectives.
  • Manage client relationships within assigned accounts and ensure clear, trusted delivery.
  • Develop scientific content while providing high-level review of deliverables.
  • Line manage, mentor, onboard, and develop junior writers.
  • Contribute to team development, resourcing, and strategic initiatives.
  • Support business development, pitches, and organic account growth through scientific insights.

Requirements

  • Degree in a scientific or related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 6 years of experience in medical or scientific writing.
  • Ability to manage varied scientific content and maintain strategic alignment.
  • Experience in client relationship management and account oversight.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and line managing team members.
  • Experience supporting business development initiatives and pitches.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Oncology or immunology therapeutic-area experience is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work in the US or Canada, ideally on the East Coast.
