Description

  • Lead Automox's Security and IT Operations functions day to day and report directly to the CTO.
  • Set and execute a 6-12 month roadmap with clear milestones, owners, and metrics.
  • Own the GRC program and maintain SOC 2 as an ongoing discipline.
  • Own the ProdSec program and partner with Engineering and Product to embed security into the development lifecycle.
  • Own CorpSec and lead incident response, including runbooks, escalation paths, and post-incident reviews.
  • Set and execute strategy for endpoints, identity, and SaaS at scale.
  • Oversee MDM, patch compliance, hardware lifecycle, and zero-touch provisioning across macOS and Windows.
  • Own IAM processes including provisioning, group design, MFA, and access reviews.
  • Administer core SaaS tools and manage license rationalization.
  • Develop team members, coach through performance and interpersonal issues, and build succession depth.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on onboarding, offboarding, SaaS rollouts, migrations, and compliance.
  • Track operational KPIs and use them to drive improvement across security, IT spend, and service coverage.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in security engineering or security operations, including hands-on IT operations responsibility, or a combined security and IT role.
  • 3+ years of people management experience.
  • SOC 2 experience and hands-on incident management experience.
  • Experience with a modern identity provider, MDM for macOS and Windows, collaboration suite administration, source control administration, and cloud IAM.
  • Working Linux experience.
  • Ability to use AI coding tools to produce and accelerate automation, and to review their output for correctness and security.
  • Working familiarity with PowerShell, bash, and Python.
  • Strong judgment on architectural and tooling trade-offs.
  • Ability to pass a federal, state, and county background check.
  • Ability to complete a local in-person verification.
  • Must be eligible to work without visa sponsorship, as sponsorship is not available at this time.
