Description

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve quota and increase market share within the assigned territory.
  • Grow business within the targeted area of responsibility.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Collaborate with sales management to establish territory selling strategy and tactics.
  • Respond to customer needs, requirements, and problems in accordance with company policy.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with surgeons and other key contacts at target accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and monitor the sales order process, including account records and activity reporting.
  • Coordinate product shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services.
  • Participate in sales meetings, trade shows, conventions, and other company or industry events as requested.
  • Use analytics and technology to support business decisions and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school education required; college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in spine and/or orthopedics.
  • Prior sales experience preferred.
  • Specific knowledge of orthopedic medical devices and general OR protocols; spine experience is highly preferable.
  • Strong business and functional acumen.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to independently set and meet aggressive goals and objectives.
  • Must be a team player who can achieve results in a collaborative manner.
  • Must be willing to comply with commercial policies, including annual training and certification requirements.
  • For U.S.-based roles requiring hospital access, must be eligible for and maintain credentials at all required hospitals, including any applicable physical or vaccination requirements.
