Description

  • Manage, mentor, and train a team of documentation professionals.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain documentation standards for format, style, and quality control.
  • Map business processes, procedures, and workflows in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts to ensure accuracy.
  • Implement and manage a centralized document control system or repository for accurate storage and retrieval.
  • Ensure documentation complies with regulatory, legal, and company-specific standards.
  • Monitor documentation KPIs, including accuracy, timeliness, and team productivity.
  • Directly supervise department employees and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policy and law.
  • Interview, hire, train, plan work, assign tasks, appraise performance, and address employee issues.
  • Support change, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination around documentation practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in technical writing, process documentation, or a management role.
  • Experience with document management systems (DMS).
  • Experience with Wikis such as Confluence.
  • Experience with process mapping software such as Visio.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex processes and translate them into clear, actionable, step-by-step documentation.
  • Experience leading or supervising a team is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a professional office environment with occasional evening and weekend work.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines with limited staff support.
