Description

  • Coordinate supply chain activities from raw material sourcing through production and fulfillment.
  • Create, place, and track purchase orders, invoices, payments, and related records.
  • Coordinate suppliers, manufacturers, co-packers, freight providers, customs brokers, carriers, and 3PLs.
  • Schedule pickups and deliveries while tracking domestic and international shipments across multiple time zones.
  • Manage customs documentation, bills of lading, freight paperwork, insurance, and shipment requirements.
  • Monitor production timelines, raw materials, finished goods movement, and fulfillment deadlines.
  • Identify delays, missing information, supply risks, and production issues before they affect customers.
  • Maintain organized operational documentation and assist with bookkeeping and intercompany paperwork.
  • Communicate issues directly and recommend solutions to keep logistics activities moving forward.
  • Take ownership of routine logistics coordination and reduce the founder’s day-to-day operational involvement.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, purchasing, operations, manufacturing, freight, or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating multiple vendors or external partners.
  • Strong organizational, project-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing purchase orders, invoices, shipping documentation, or similar operational paperwork.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple moving parts.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong proficiency with spreadsheets and business software.
  • Preferred experience in CPG, food and beverage, manufacturing, co-packing, or wholesale.
  • International logistics, ocean freight/LCL, customs broker, Asia supplier, or 3PL experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with FreightOS, ClearIt, or similar freight and customs platforms preferred.
  • Basic bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.
  • Proactive, adaptable, resourceful, accountable, and comfortable solving problems without established processes.
