Description

  • Support the sales and marketing process by preparing and updating proposals and presentations.
  • Assist with pre-construction work including estimating, scope development, and project documentation.
  • Support projects from initial estimating through completion.
  • Maintain and improve project data, templates, spreadsheets, documents, and reporting systems.
  • Organize and manage the company’s Google Drive across sales, estimating, financials, HR, and insurance.
  • Use JobTread to support estimating, scheduling, budgets, tasks, and project administration.
  • Develop and improve templates for different project types, including new builds and renovations.
  • Support financial tracking, reporting, and spreadsheet management.
  • Help make company data more structured and useful for decision-making.
  • Support the owners with operational priorities and help ensure important tasks are completed.
  • Potentially assist with supplier coordination, material orders, and scheduling as the role develops.
  • Support social media activity by helping create around two construction-focused posts per week.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, systems, and processes across the business.
  • Use AI tools to improve efficiency and automate processes.

Requirements

  • Experience in residential construction, construction administration, project coordination, or a closely related environment.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong spreadsheet skills, particularly Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Confidence working with data, templates, reports, and interconnected spreadsheets.
  • Strong technology skills and ability to quickly learn new platforms.
  • Experience with construction or project management software is a major advantage.
  • Understanding of project workflows, construction sequencing, or construction management processes.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach.
  • Genuine interest in AI and technology, with the ability to identify practical ways AI can improve business processes.
  • Ability to work independently and self-manage effectively in a remote environment.
  • Experience creating content and managing social media.
  • Experience with JobTread, Buildertrend, Procore, Google Workspace / Google Drive, QuickBooks, Asana, or similar tools is beneficial.
