Description

  • Install, test, and service AssetWatch condition-based monitoring solutions at client sites according to defined specifications.
  • Travel on short notice to handle emergency jobs, customer issues, and last-minute changes.
  • Provide on-site technical support to industrial and manufacturing customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot and repair product installations when communication issues arise.
  • Maintain installation and field service records accurately.
  • Manage service tools and inventory and ensure accountability for assigned company assets.
  • Support product development by evaluating and testing existing and new products.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and customer personnel to build confidence and cooperation.
  • Follow safety practices in confined industrial environments, including wearing required PPE.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the field service industry preferred.
  • Experience with travel-related work.
  • Experience using hand tools, air tools, and large specialized tools specific to the job or project.
  • General knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment.
  • General knowledge of industrial electronic systems, including enclosures, cabinets, chassis, electrical connectors, cabling, and mounting hardware.
  • Familiarity with industrial networking equipment and protocols.
  • Familiarity with vibration analysis and environmental testing, including vibration and shock, preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance, commissioning new systems, and repairing associated equipment preferred but not required.
  • OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred, with training available upon hiring.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
  • Ability to work in confined industrial environments and wear PPE, including protective glasses, gloves, clothing, and footwear.
  • Ability to travel up to 100% of the time, including overnight, air travel, weekends, and off-hours.
