Description

  • Collect and analyze vibration and temperature data at client sites to determine maintenance needs.
  • Perform vibration data collection, data analysis, software modeling, programming, and engineering evaluations.
  • Evaluate machinery health and condition through detailed vibration analysis.
  • Develop software models and programs to expand and maintain the vibration data analysis library.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to clients, including appropriate alarm levels for analytical tools.
  • Accompany hardware installation teams and recommend sensor placement.
  • Lead and grow AssetWatch’s predictive maintenance tool development program.
  • Expand machine condition monitoring capabilities beyond vibration analysis to ultrasonic and oil/fluid analysis.
  • Work closely with product development to create hardware and software solutions and new product offerings.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with vibration data collection and analysis.
  • Experience using FFT analyzers and predictive/preventative maintenance software preferred.
  • Valid ISO Category II or higher vibration certification preferred; continued certification expected.
  • Strong understanding of electro-mechanical fundamentals, including AC induction and DC motors.
  • Strong mechanical background with industrial equipment such as compressors, turbines, blowers, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Proficiency with analyzers measuring vibration spectra and time waveforms.
  • Ability to develop corrective actions based on field vibration analysis data and discussions with plant personnel.
  • Must be able to work on and around elevated fixed and rotating equipment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard PC applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment and work collaboratively across the organization.

  • Remote work requires collaboration during core working hours across U.S. and Ontario, Canada locations.
