Description

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and collect outstanding receivables.
  • Investigate and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, disputed invoices, billing discrepancies, purchase order issues, and reconciliation items.
  • Research customer payments using remittances, invoices, contracts, communications, and payment history.
  • Own payment issues through resolution and follow up with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiate payment commitments while maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Document collection activity and communications in NetSuite and related systems.
  • Partner with Billing, Revenue, Customer Success, Sales, Support, and Finance to remove payment barriers.
  • Escalate high-risk accounts and recommend practical solutions.
  • Analyze aging trends and recurring collection issues to identify root causes and improve collection efficiency.
  • Maintain standardized procedures and support improvements to payment resolution and cash application processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive B2B accounts receivable and commercial collections experience.
  • Ability to independently research and resolve complex accounts receivable issues.
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with strong ownership, accountability, urgency, and follow-through.
  • SaaS or subscription business experience preferred.
  • NetSuite and Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally or mentoring junior/offshore team members preferred.

  • US base salary of $78,000–$95,000, plus equity and benefits.
