Description

  • Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies for newly onboarded communities.
  • Evaluate prior marketing efforts and recommend improvements to digital presence, brand positioning, and lead generation.
  • Partner with operational leadership to align marketing strategies with occupancy goals and ownership expectations.
  • Oversee setup and coordination of marketing assets, including logos, photography, domains, websites, and other digital platforms.
  • Manage the setup, optimization, and auditing of Internet Listing Services (ILS) such as Apartments.com, Zillow, and Apartment List.
  • Ensure accurate property listings across ILS platforms, Google Business Profiles, and social media channels.
  • Collaborate with internal digital marketing teams to launch and optimize PPC, Performance Max, retargeting, and paid social campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal design teams and vendors to implement or refresh community branding, signage, and marketing collateral.
  • Serve as the primary marketing advisor for communities during the transition period and lead discussions with stakeholders and ownership groups.
  • Manage multiple concurrent property transitions while maintaining organization, timeline adherence, and transition efficiency.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to Marketing Transitions Associates.
  • Analyze marketing performance data, lead trends, and leasing metrics to inform recommendations and identify optimization opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in multifamily, student housing, real estate, or digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including ILS platforms, paid media, and social media marketing.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or Entrata preferred.
  • Experience with industry-related CRMs such as EliseAI or Knock preferred.
  • Experience supporting property transitions, portfolio onboarding, or rebrand initiatives preferred.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, marketing, vendors, and ownership groups.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position and may be subject to additional compliance requirements.
