Description

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring COTS software implementation projects and small customer customizations.
  • Support senior Project Managers with project activities, customer communications, and project administration.
  • Maintain project plans, schedules, templates, documentation, and deliverable tracking.
  • Schedule meetings, record minutes, and distribute project communications to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare customer status reports, meeting notes, and quarterly deliverable summaries.
  • Review Statements of Work to understand scope and verify deliverables align with customer agreements.
  • Coordinate with Resource Managers to monitor project scope and assigned work.
  • Track action items, risks, milestones, and change requests across projects.
  • Build positive working relationships with customers and participate in implementation activities.
  • Complete required product, project management, and implementation training and participate in cross-functional learning opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience coordinating projects, customer service, business operations, or administrative support preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to learn project management software and tools, including Microsoft Project.
  • Willingness to learn software implementation processes and project management best practices.
  • CAPM certification, or the ability to obtain it within a designated timeframe, preferred.
  • Experience in a software, technology, or professional services environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with project coordination or implementation activities preferred.
  • Experience with state government, human services, case management, or enterprise software is a plus.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Project or similar project management software preferred.
  • Travel may be required on an as-needed basis.
  • Ability to sit for long periods, use office equipment, and lift up to 15 pounds.
