Description

  • Own the voice pipeline end to end, including ASR, TTS, streaming, latency, evals, and underlying model bets.
  • Define and execute the voice product roadmap for customer and agent call-center experiences.
  • Manage commercial relationships with third-party voice technology vendors and make build-versus-buy decisions.
  • Work closely with engineering leads to align voice investments with the broader agentic platform.
  • Manage telephony integrations between ASAPP’s solution and customers’ CCaaS stacks.
  • Set strategy and own roadmap prioritization across customer commitments, technical debt, and new technology bets.
  • Work directly with customers and account teams to prioritize and sequence delivery.
  • Maintain a disciplined backlog by actively pruning low-value work and saying no clearly and with evidence.
  • Establish metrics and telemetry to measure voice pipeline components and the end-to-end experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience in voice technologies, enterprise B2B SaaS, and native AI platforms.
  • Strong technical depth to discuss voice system design and architecture credibly with engineers.
  • Ability to produce working prototypes and operate hands-on.
  • Strong understanding of ASR, TTS, speech-to-speech, streaming, latency, endpointing, barge-in, turn-taking, and noise handling.
  • Familiarity with telephony and contact-center infrastructure such as SIP, call transfers, Amazon Connect, Genesys, and Twilio.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a complex, multi-surface product area with minimal oversight.
  • Experience working directly with enterprise customers and delivery teams to turn pain points into a prioritized roadmap.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and structuring undefined problems before engineering begins.
  • Track record of shipping features from discovery through delivery, including non-glamorous execution work.
  • Direct experience shipping production voice AI or real-time conversational products is preferred.
  • Experience defining voice-specific evaluations across task completion, latency, transcription accuracy, interruptions, and conversational quality is preferred.
  • Strong technical product judgment around quality, latency, reliability, cost, and build-versus-buy tradeoffs is preferred.
  • Enterprise product experience with integrations, security, compliance, human handoffs, and production observability is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a startup or fast-scaling environment is preferred.
