Description

  • Lead complex cross-functional technical programs spanning hardware, infrastructure, IT systems, and operational readiness.
  • Partner with engineering, construction, operations, IT, and commercial teams to align on objectives, dependencies, timelines, and resource needs.
  • Define program plans, success criteria, and execution frameworks for complex workstreams.
  • Create and maintain repeatable, scalable systems and processes while balancing long-term goals with short-term pragmatism.
  • Identify and manage risks, drive mitigation plans, and escalate critical issues in a timely manner.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to foster trust, shared ownership, and transparent decision-making.
  • Ensure teams understand roles, responsibilities, expectations, and strategic direction.
  • Facilitate communication by translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Coordinate operational readiness so hardware, infrastructure, and IT systems are prepared for deployment.
  • Track and report program progress, status, decisions, and risks to leadership.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of technical program management experience in the IT or technology vendor industry.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware solutions, hardware lifecycle management, or hardware-dependent infrastructure environments.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure build projects such as data centers, edge deployments, or network installations.
  • Strong track record of driving cross-functional alignment across engineering and operational teams.
  • Ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous or fast-moving technical programs.
  • Experience establishing scalable systems, workflows, and governance, with comfort using manual or lightweight approaches initially.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while also executing tactically.
  • Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies, and detailed plans across several teams.
  • Preferred experience with data center operations, cloud infrastructure, networking hardware, or OEM hardware vendors.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain is desirable.
  • Certification or training in program management methodologies such as PMP, Agile, or Lean is a plus but not required.
  • Technical background or familiarity with IT infrastructure domains is preferred.

  • Competitive base salary of AUD $163,040 to $203,800.
