Description

  • Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Technology, and Product leads to define solutions for feature requests.
  • Maintain software integrating internal systems.
  • Build software to centralize add-on purchases for the Arbor Platform.
  • Create detailed feature documentation, including diagrams.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive automated tests for new features.
  • Write well-architected, efficient, and scalable code using established design patterns.
  • Lead code reviews and pair-programming sessions while mentoring colleagues.
  • Lead and participate in technical talks, workshops, and team learning initiatives.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with object-oriented programming and software development.
  • Significant software development experience with PHP, including building back-end services.
  • Experience integrating third-party systems and APIs.
  • Advanced knowledge of software engineering principles and practices, including SOLID and DRY.
  • Strong experience with relational databases.
  • Proactive, strategic problem-solving approach with demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Collaborative team-player attitude and strong written and spoken English.
  • Experience with enterprise solutions and large-scale systems (preferred).
  • Experience with React, or Vue combined with willingness to learn React; familiarity with agile methods, cloud computing, Docker, and containerization (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Refactoring, Clean Code, Domain-Driven Design, or Test-Driven Development (preferred).
