Description

  • Own the design, development, and deployment of the robot charging dock and power delivery infrastructure.
  • Apply expertise in high-efficiency AC/DC and bi-directional DC/DC conversion for lithium battery charging systems.
  • Design power systems with attention to grid interaction, harmonics, power factor correction, fault protection, and load management.
  • Ensure compliance with global safety and regulatory standards such as UL, CE, and FCC.
  • Design, simulate, implement, and test multi-layer mixed-signal PCBAs.
  • Rapidly prototype electrical systems at both system and board levels.
  • Create design documentation including schematics, block diagrams, test plans, procedures, and fabrication and assembly drawings.
  • Execute verification, validation, and benchmarking tests.
  • Collaborate with software, mechanical, thermal, systems, manufacturing, project management, and technical leadership teams.
  • Manage vendor, contract manufacturer, and external design service relationships; mentor junior electrical engineers.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management tools such as Arena.
  • Competence with CAD tools such as Altium or similar.
  • Experience developing and maintaining CAD design rules.
  • Proven experience designing, prototyping, and debugging PCB/PCBAs.
  • Experience interfacing with manufacturing groups during release and build activities.
  • Experience with electronics lab tools and simulation tools such as LTSpice or PSpice.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop detailed build assembly instructions and diagrams.
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and lab equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and hardware debugging skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% within the U.S. and internationally.
